About me

My credentials

I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy and a graduate member of the British Psychological Society. I therefore abide by their ethical frameworks so rest assured that you are in safe hands. I hold a psychology degree, a diploma in counselling, the certificate in CBT coaching as well as the certificate in coaching for performance and for health and well-being.

What led me to become a psychotherapist?

I experienced a fair amount of trauma, loss and pain in my life and watched people around me struggle too. I am yet to meet a person who has never experienced pain and suffering. However, I believe that anyone can lead a happy and fulfilling life despite difficult circumstances. A good life is not a given but rather a hard work where each day is an opportunity for change and growth.

In my practice I provide a warm and honest environment in which you can be yourself, without the fear of judgment. I will put your needs at the centre of my practice and encourage you to be autonomous rather than dependent by motivating you to make changes in different areas of your life that reflect your rather than someone else's values and needs.

Counselling and Psychotherapy 

Face-to-face, online and telephone counselling

This kind of therapy is suitable for anyone who struggles with emotional pain and would like to express it in a safe and confidential space. However, in order to make the most out of therapy, you need to approach it with an open mind and courage. Therapy is not a miracle cure, it requires hard work and commitment. In our sessions I will listen to you attentively, because you probably haven't been heard before and I mean really heard... I will reflect what I hear, so that you know that I am really listening. I will ask questions to clarify my understanding. At times, I will challenge your way of thinking and interpreting the world so that you can start questioning your old unhelpful beliefs and patterns of behaviour... I will do so gently, with empathy, compassion and acceptance. Together, we will explore your emotions, your thoughts, behaviour, your experiences, your beliefs and your values.
Why is it important to explore the past and the present? Very often we think that we are very aware of how we behave and interpret the world but it is only when we start to explore our inner world, do we gain a real insight into who we really are and what we really want. Hence uncovering different layers of you, can help you to understand where your emotions and reactions come from. This in turn will form the basis of recovery, healing and change.
The issues that are suitable for counselling and psychotherapy include but are not limited to anxiety, depression, grief and loss, addiction, relationship issues, loneliness, chronic health conditions any many other.

Face-to-face and online

Hypnotherapy is a skill of focused attention on a dominant idea and believing it as if it were true. All hypnosis is self-hypnosis.

I use an evidence-based model of hypnotherapy called HypnoCBT. You are in charge of the process at all times while I am just your guide. Hypnotherapy is basically an imagination therapy and you don't need to be in 'trance' in order to get the most out of it.
Hypnotherapy works really well for phobias and anxiety, stress, lack of confidence and assertiveness, weight issues, insomnia and chronic pain.

Coaching is the art of unlocking people's potential to increase their performance in all areas of life such as work, study, sport or home.

In our coaching sessions I will help you to identify your strengths and your weaknesses, your values and your goals. These will form the basis of our work together. Depending on what you'd like to achieve and what is stopping you from achieving it, I will use different tools and strategies from cognitive-behavioural and solution-focused therapy as well as positive psychology.

Face-to-face and online

Counselling and Psychotherapy

£60 per session 

Discounts are available for long-term work.
Usually a minimum of 6 to 12 sessions are needed to achieve change. However some clients benefit from a single solution/problem focused session.


£60 per session

Discounts are available for block bookings
Sessions are 60 min long
Depending on the issue, 3 to 6 sessions are usually sufficient to achieve change.

Sometimes even 1 session is enough to achieve change.
